What Is CodeWords?
CodeWords is an AI automation platform built by Agemo. You talk to an AI assistant called Cody, describe what you want, and it builds, deploys, and manages entire applications and automation workflows for you. No coding required.
Sounds too good to be true? That is exactly what I thought. So I tested it by building something real: MyAIJourney.org — a complete affiliate blog with automated content generation, email marketing, social media posting, and analytics. All through a chat conversation.
What I Built in 2 Days (Just By Talking to Cody)
Here is everything that was built through our conversation, with zero coding on my part:
- Full blog website — Homepage, blog with 7+ reviews, about page, contact page, legal pages (privacy, terms, disclaimer with AI-specific clauses)
- AI blog bot — Automatically discovers trending AI tools, researches them, writes comprehensive reviews, publishes them to my blog, and shares on LinkedIn and Facebook. Runs every 2 days on autopilot
- Email marketing system — Newsletter signup with Brevo integration, 7-day welcome email drip sequence, contact form with auto-confirmation emails
- 24/7 AI chat assistant — A GPT-powered chatbot on every page that knows about my reviews and helps visitors find the right AI tools
- Affiliate tracking — UTM parameters on all links, email gate popup to capture leads before affiliate clicks, click tracking to Google Sheets
- 5 Google Sheets dashboards — Affiliate clicks, subscriber tracking, unsubscribes, newsletter analytics, and daily click summaries with email reports
- Admin dashboard — Password-protected page showing all automations, platform connections, published posts, and quick links to manage everything
- Custom domain — Connected myaijourney.org with SSL, Google Search Console verification, sitemap, and robots.txt
- Logo and branding — AI-generated logo and profile picture matching my brand colors
What Impressed Me
It Actually Understands What You Want
I did not write a single line of code. I described what I wanted in plain English: "Build me an affiliate blog with automated content and email marketing." Cody asked clarifying questions, built everything, tested it, and deployed it. When something broke, it debugged and fixed it without me needing to understand the technical details.
The Automation Is Real
This is not a website builder that makes a pretty page. The blog bot genuinely runs every 2 days, picks an AI tool from my priority list (sorted by affiliate commission rates), scrapes the tool website, writes a full review, publishes it to my live site, and shares it on social media. I wake up to new content on my blog that I did not write.
Everything Connects
Email signups, click tracking, Google Sheets dashboards, social media posting, scheduled automations — it all works together as a system, not isolated pieces. When someone subscribes, they get a welcome email sequence. When someone clicks an affiliate link, it gets logged with their email. The daily summary emails me what is performing.
What Could Be Better
- Social media posting has friction — LinkedIn and Facebook integrations through Composio had permission issues. We worked around it, but it was not seamless. PostOnce integration would solve this
- Environment variables for production — Some API keys needed manual workarounds to reach the production deployment. Not a dealbreaker but added some back-and-forth
- Learning curve for the admin side — The CodeWords dashboard has a lot of features. If you are non-technical, you will rely heavily on Cody (the AI) rather than navigating the platform yourself
Pricing
CodeWords has a free tier to start. The Pro plan gives you more compute, API access, and the ability to build more complex automations. For what I built — a full automated business — the Pro plan is easily worth it. The ROI from even a few affiliate commissions covers the subscription many times over.
Who Should Use CodeWords
Great fit if:
- You have a business idea but cannot code
- You want to automate content creation, email marketing, or data workflows
- You are building an affiliate or content business
- You want AI-powered tools without the complexity of building them yourself
Not ideal if:
- You need pixel-perfect custom design (it builds clean but functional sites)
- You want full control over every line of code (though you can see and edit the code)
- You only need a simple static website (use something cheaper)
My Verdict
CodeWords is the real deal. I went from zero to a fully automated affiliate blog — with content generation, email marketing, social sharing, lead capture, and analytics — in two days of chatting with an AI. No code, no templates, no tutorial videos.
The platform is not perfect. Social media integrations need polish, and the deployment workflow has some rough edges. But the core promise — describe what you want and get a working automated business — absolutely delivers.
